Our Story
Hello, we are Patrick and Catalina Bailes co-founders of 3Roots Spice Company.
3Roots Spice Company was born when Patrick started creating small seasoning and rub blends to replace the shelf seasonings we all were used to using growing up. Catalina has long battled an auto-immunie disease most of her life. We were on a journey of getting pregnant and at our doctors urging, we adapted a low inflammation diet in hopes of seeing results. And so our journey began, cooking and eating differently. This meant cleaning out our pantry and starting from scratch. Down to the salt and pepper we were using.
Patrick loves to smoke and grill regularly and enjoys seasoning meats and vegetables for our meals. But every time we turned to read a label, we were disappointed with the ingredient list.. Between Catalina’s Mexican roots and Patrick’s American roots, we knew bold flavors were not something we were willing to give up.
As a family, we spend most of our spare time in the kitchen. The memories we create around a table are as important as the ingredient list we were using. And so we began creating!!! We knew we were on to something when we shared our food with friends and family and had so many compliments on flavor. We also came to the realization that there were other families out there that needed our products. And so here we are proudly sharing our creations with you!!!
